Reikartz wins court case over hotel in Khiva

The Tashkent Inter-District Economic Court ruled that the unauthorized seizure of the building and early termination of the 5-year lease agreement by Lakhisam LLC were illegal. Reikartz is waiting for the judgment to come into legal force and plans to take measures to return the building, which is currently being held by the "raiders".

In addition, the company is preparing claims for protection of business reputation and compensation for lost profits for the period during which Reikartz was deprived of the opportunity to manage the hotel.

Reikartz expressed its satisfaction that the rule of law applies in the Republic of Uzbekistan, despite individual cases of misconduct. The judicial authorities of Uzbekistan demonstrated protection of investors' rights and careful consideration of the situation.
