Ankara

One of the oldest cities in Asia Minor, known for most of its history under the Greek name Ankira. The city until the beginning of the 20th century remained provincial and only in 1923 was declared the capital of the country. Although it is inferior to Istanbul in terms of population, Ankara is the leader in terms of area and is also considered an important economic center. Ankara has a large number of museums and attractions that attract tourists. The climate in the city area is hot in summer, with occasional rains, and snow often falls in winter.
