On November, 24th in the city of Mykolaiv the Allukrainian competition on culinary art and service among juniors "Best chef" was organized, organized by the Association of cooks of Ukraine.
The competition was attended by representatives of educational institutions and restaurant facilities from Nikolaev, Mykolaiv region, Zhytomyr, Kiev and other cities. The minimum age for participation was the age of the participants: according to international standards, cooks and waiters under the age of 23 are considered junior ones.
Our company was represented by the staff of the Reikartz River Mykolayiv Hotel, in particular the restaurant "Stargorod" and the pub "Khmilny Patrik".
We are incredibly proud because our colleagues have adequately defended the company's honor:
Mearagov Ignat, restaurant "Stargorod" – 3rd place and bronze medal in the category "Holiday Cake" in the category "Art class".
Pyhur Dmytro, Khmylny Patrick Pub – 1st place and a gold medal in the category "Dishes from hydrobionts" in the category "Practical competitions".
Kharchenko Maria, restaurant "Stargorod" – 1 place and gold medal in the category "Service class".
Also in the jury's commission, the Reikartz Hotel Group represented the Jean-Louis Düger, a concept chef of French cuisine, and Irina Magaletska's training department.
Participants and guests of the competition were able to listen to the master class from I. Magaletskaya on the topic "Hospitality - as the main component of the hotel and restaurant business."
Our company was awarded a diploma as a partner of the competition, which was presented to the Regional Operations Director Tetyana Klimoshenko.
