Reikartz announces the creation of the Foundation for support of young artists and sculptors of Ukraine

CEO Magnus Reikartz Vetterholmcomments on the project: "We have always supported young artists by placing orders on paintings for hotel's decoration. At our hotel in Dnepropetrovsk there are more than 100 paintings devoted to Ukraine's sightseeing, and the hotel in Kharkov has about 100 works devoted to places in different parts of the world. We have decided to gather a collection of paintings from Ukrainian young artists, regardless of style, to save all the richness of their work in this period for future generations, and to help the authors to become more popular".

The plans of the Fund is to purchase works of painters and sculptors, exhibiting their paintings in hotels, as well as the organization of personal and thematic exhibitions across the country and on the basis of the exhibition center in Odessa, which is planned to create in 2016 based at tobacco factory "Salve".

The first artist who began working with the Foundation a young painter that graduated from the Kiev Academy, was a participant of different exhibitions. It works in the style of nonconformity. The Foundation bought more than 20 works of this author. "We will continue to cooperate with her, watching the growth of her art and planning her new contribution into our Foundation – says Foundation curator Anastasia Karnobed. – We are open for cooperation with all young and talented people, and waiting for their appeals to our Foundation".
